Ben Geels has worked in finance and banking for over 30 years and specialises in corporate debt, restructuring of companies post acquisition and turnaround management.
Ben has worked in the Caribbean, France, the UK, Japan, North & South Korea, Philippines and Indonesia, Russia (Europe and Far East), Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Romania. He brings a huge depth of international experience and multicultural understanding.
Before joining Osprey, Ben was COO for all ING Group entities in Romania and CEO of ING Bank Retail in Romania.
Ben has extensive experience with business reviews, turn-around, start-up and restructuring world-wide and joined the Turn Around Management Association Romania chapter as one of the early members.
Didier Lepoutre graduated with joint business/engineering degrees at UCL in Belgium and Brandeis University, USA. While working for JP Morgan’s Global Custody business in Brussels, Didier obtained a Fulbright Scholarship from the United Nations’ Commission for Educational Exchange between the US and Belgium and went on to complete an MBA in the USA, at the Johnson Graduate School of Management, Cornell University. After his studies Didier worked in the investment banking sector at The Chase Manhattan Bank in New York and London; BZW ltd, Barclays Bank’s corporate broker where he started the structured products business as a joint-venture between the equities and debt divisions, and from 1997 at US investment bank Bear Stearns, structuring and marketing transactions for institutional investors and large corporations throughout Europe. In 2003 Didier left Bear Stearns as a Managing Director to settle in Romania where he has since been involved in business development, M&A and capital raising, performing business due diligence, business planning, valuation, financial and transaction advice.
Didier is also co-founder of Neuron Global Inc. and a board member of the Belgian software company Lambda Plus.
